Christ Church Cathedral (founded c.1028) is the spiritual heart of Dublin City, and one of Ireland's top visitor attractions. It is also a wonderful events venue and we are pleased to present our progamme of events for the year. It's ever-changing, so please visit us often. As part of our Crypt Open Afternoon, we will be running a fascinating ‘Monks’ Tour’ aimed a 7 -10 year olds. Children have the chance to dress up in their own little monks’ habits and learn all about the monks who lived at Christ Church, what they ate, what they wore and what they did every day!
Step through 1000 years of history with this short walking tour of the cathedral and neighbourhood in the company of historian Mike Neill, including access to nearby St. Werburgh's Church.
