Ring the Bells - Heritage Week

As part of Heritage Week 2017, come along to our daily free ‘Ring The Bells’ Tour with your family and avail of reduced price admission for families living in Ireland. This event is for over 12s only as children under 12 are not permitted to access the bell tower.

The tour is free. but cathedral admission applies. However for the whole of Heritage Week 2017 there is reduced price admission to the cathedral for families living in Ireland.


Essential Information

Event Venue: Christ Church Cathedral, Christchurch Place, Dublin 8. 

Dates: Monday, August 21 to Friday, August 25, 2017 

Time: 1.15pm daily (please arrive at least 15 minutes before start). 

Duration: Approx. 45 Minutes

Admission: Event itself is free, but families pay a reduced rate to cathedral at the door during Heritage Week

Christ Church Cathedral, Christchurch Place, Dublin 8.

By BUS: Christchurch Place is on several bus routes, including 123, 13, 27, 40, 49, 77a and 77x - see for information.

By LUAS: Christ Church is served by the Luas Red Line. Get off at the Four Courts stop and cross the river on to Winetavern Street.

By TRAIN: Christ Church is located 15 minutes walk from Heuston and 20 minutes walk from Connolly Rail Stations, both of which are served by the number 90 bus which stops on both sides of the quays directly opposite the cathedral.

By DART: Christ Church is located approximately 10 minutes walk from Tara Street Dart Station.

CAR PARKING: The nearest car park is Q-Park Christ Church, accessed from Werburgh Street, just across from the cathedral. It is a 24-hour car park.
