Christ Church Cathedral (founded c.1028) is the spiritual heart of Dublin City, and one of Ireland's top visitor attractions. It is also a wonderful events venue and we are pleased to present our progamme of events for the year. It's ever-changing, so please visit us often. The events presented below are in date order and most are bookable online. You can also filter them by month, or by your interests.
A thought-provoking films exploring the theme of journeys. The final evening will feature Fire At Sea (2016) introduced by Nick Henderson, CEO of the Irish Refugee Council.The showings are in the beautiful candlelit Music Room. Admission free.
With age comes… Reflections on Mark 9:33-37 and Ephesians 4:11-16. The third in our creative Lenten reflection series entitled ‘I Wonder as I Wander…’. Doors open at 7:00 pm for each session.

Prepare to be enchanted as Irish Baroque Orchestra presents a forgotten gem of the baroque repertoire, Handel’s ESTHER. Brought to life in sensuous arias and stirring choruses, this compelling musical drama is a must-see for fans of Handel’s Messiah.
Led by Tracy Johnson of Zoe Zoe Candles, come and learn how to make a personalised candle, adding your own perfume and message. Workshop free, normal Cathedral admission applies.
The final event in our creative Lenten reflection series showcases the artistic collaboration of choreographer Maria Nilsson Waller, musician Stace Gill, and dancer Emma Fitzgerald. Doors open at 7:00 pm.
